ChatGPT Business and Enterprise: what companies compare

Individual account: A personal account does not yet answer who in the company manages accounts, shares content and removes access when an employee leaves. Define these requirements before choosing a plan. Business: OpenAI lists a company workspace with basic administration and SAML SSO. The OpenAI admin FAQ clarifies: SCIM and synchronised identity groups are not part of Business. Organisation-wide mandatory MFA must be enforced through the identity provider; this is distinct from account-level MFA. Before comparing, therefore, check your must-have criteria and have them confirmed in the quote.

From individual account to team access

Start with the access rules: which employees need which documents, who approves external connections, and how are permissions revoked? Then check processing, training use, deletion and contract documents. Only with this scope defined can a price be compared meaningfully.

What types of alternatives exist

A add-on layer adds AI to existing tools. An integrated platform combines a knowledge store and AI in one offering. In an in-house build you are responsible for selecting and operating the components yourself. Direct model offerings can also be part of a solution; however, model access alone does not replace organising file storage and permissions. Using ChatGPT and Nexoria together

ChatGPT can optionally be connected via your own provider account and a Nexoria MCP. Nexoria also works without this integration. Approval is given by the company administrator. When connected, shared content is transmitted to the respective provider; its terms, processing locations and settings must be checked separately.

OpenAI describes MCP connections as access to connected systems with the permissions of the authorised account. This can be a personal account, a shared account or an account assigned to an agent. Define that account's access rights and the group of authorised users deliberately. Synchronised sources can be indexed in advance; the handling of chat histories is separate from this. In the pilot, clarify which content the specific Nexoria connection shares, which features your OpenAI plan supports and how you revoke the connection. Specify deliberately which company content is shared via the connection.

Hosting and data location

Storage and processing are separate questions. For ChatGPT Work, OpenAI describes data and inference residency only for eligible content and supported workflows, depending on contract, region and configuration. Training use and other services

For Nexoria, use for training and retention must be checked against the Mistral contracts and account settings that actually apply. Optional AI, mail, meeting or telephony services bring additional data flows. Technical support services must also be taken into account. Technical error monitoring runs via Sentry, based in the USA, without access to document content. For the optional VoiceBot, Telnyx (headquarters USA, EU branch Ireland) provides the telephone connection. To do this, align the specific contract documents and settings with your requirements.

For ChatGPT Business the OpenAI pricing overview lists US$20 per user per month with annual billing and at least two users, or US$25 with monthly billing. For Enterprise it refers to sales.
